The new Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois media library is located on Place Dimitrov. The plot represents approximately 6,500 m2, the equipment  develops  a useful surface of 1,308 m2.

The circle is chosen as a conceptual form that symbolizes the meeting and the union of different people (like round table meeting where everyone is equal), since this media library must accommodate all audiences, have friendly spaces accessible to everyone and promote the coexistence of uses and practices.

The idea of ​​the project is to create fluid spaces, assemble the 5 main universes (hospitality, childhood, play, leisure, work) while ensuring comfort of use for everyone. This media library is inspired by the work of Shigeru Ban. The integration of cardboard pillars  helps to creates large open spaces inside the building, as well as to bring there a lot of daylight passing throught these pillars. A second glazing skin creates a round circulation in each space.
